What is your favorite place to go camping / hiking / backpack near Colorado Springs, Colorado?
I live in Colorado Springs, and I anticipate fun activities outdoors for next spring and summer. What is your favorite place to camp, hike, backpack in our region? So far I've spent time in the jungle camp on Lake George, 11 miles, Woodland Park, etc. .. But I'm looking to find new items! Something that hopefully with a little care lake near that many people still do not know, or maybe secret hot springs hike? If you prefer to keep quiet, please send me an email. GPS coordinates are welcome! I'm not a big fan of the designated camps – and prefer rustic 4×4 camping and backpacking a good old walk.
I live in Indiana but have a cabin outside of Buena Vista. When I go in the spring, enjoy a lake view lost. He has a fractured continetial a mile or two off the impact Cottonwood. I also love my 4×4 Mary Murphy is a small village GOHST (St.Elmo). There are also trail 4×4 (Tincup) out of San Telmo. I could go on for days bueatiful places in this area. These are PROBally place 2 hours drive for you.
