Garmin GPS built-in FM transmitter … Is it necessary?
I plan to buy a Garmin GPS unit. In their series have characteristics nüvi 350/360 quite similar to the 650/660, except that the latter have large LCD screens and 660 has an FM transmitter. (Of course, there is a difference in Bluetooth capability. But I'm really into it.) My question is: Do I really have to pay several hundred dollars just for the top of the FM transmitter? An alternative I can think of is to buy a separate FM transmitter (there are tons on what's to MP3 players and costs less than $ 50) and the output of the voice instructions Nuvi 350/360 's headphone jack for external FM transmitter. Will it work? Has anyone tried this successfully? Thank you!
Yes, your right to work, but have to pay extra for that? This is the question I say no. The nüvi 350 has incorporated several GPS unit # 1 by Consumer Digest and pulibcations different and announces the street. The main the person in mind is that the GPS unit is to get from point A to point B. Period> Go to nüvi 350. Its stupid to drive the chain of stereo, lighting the radio to a blank channel (cítit BIG good luck) and back. The nüvi display is literally icnhes you. Unless more heavy fighting and driving a truck, I see no need for the ability of an average person. Good luck to you @!
