Can I use Microsoft Streets and Trips 2006 with GPS MS S & T 2008?
Currently I have Microsoft Streets and Trips 2006, which came with the complete package – hardware and software. I love the program, but unfortunately 2006 does not reflect the most recent sites (for obvious reasons:)) and I was considering buying the streets and more new and unique software Trips 2008, but before buying, I want to make sure the GPS locator currently work seamlessly with S & T in 2008. Does anyone has experience with this? I'm 95% sure it works, but probably 5% can be helped by someone who just updated the software and can give me your opinion. You should be able to use the GPS software. I have both GPS and they work 2007. The new GPS is much better and more accurate. I think it has more than satellite or something. It is not so evident in the country, but when you get between tall buildings the city or the heavy clouds, there is a noticeable difference. When testing the two in a room with windows to move anything until I put my GPS to the right by the window. The new can sit at the table in the center of the room and pick up a signal. He even had a different GPS at the same time and makes working with the streets and promenades. Tip: I'd like to get the software from Wal-Mart and unloading.
