GPS Car Charger IGC broke … Can I still get one?
I really want a GPS, but unfortunately my car charger does not work. (Never did). I even took the car when it was under warranty and that "fixed" and still does not work does not work. I do not guarantee the car more, but still like GPS. Is there any way you can charge your GPS at home and a house into a wall outlet? Is this possible or if the battery does not last long enough?
What brand and model of GPS receiver do you have? Some of these use mini USB connector for data transfer and charging. The Garmin Nuvi series does. If yours has this type of connector, can charge the battery using a mini-USB cable and connect it to your computer. You can reload while the computer is on. You can also buy a USB adapter-to-sector to perform. They are often sold for MP3 players. Connect the USB cable to the adapter, plug the adapter into the wall.
